Authentic, definitely! I yelped "Local Favorites" while visiting recently and Carlitos was front and center. We were looking for a good margarita and some chips and salsa midday before the graduation party we would be attending. Curb appeal is not the best, located in a strip mall. But once we stepped in the front door, we were transported to the courtyard of a Mexican village. Host was most pleasant and we were seated in a comfy and private booth. I ended up ordering a carne asada taco a La carte. It came quickly and I enjoyed every authentic bite. Margaritas were yummy and refreshing and a second helping of chips and salsa left us feeling satisfied and pleasantly surprised. Don't miss this hidden gem if you are in the area!

We loved the chicken fajitas, virgin strawberry margaritas. It was quick stop on the way to Burney Falls. The staff was very friendly. The place was clean and beautiful. Will visit again.
Party of 7 shows up a Carlitos... they're able to accommodate us right away! Long story short... celebrating a birthday with the family and the team at Carlitos really stepped up. They tossed I giant sombrero on the birthday boy, gathered to serenade him, and handed him a birthday shot! The food was fantastic- a huge variety for us to choose from and no one was disappointed. I ordered the fajitas and subbed the shrimp for carnitas. Yum! I was the DD, but was told the Mai Tai's, strawberry daiquiris and all their other cocktails were phenomenal. Their pricing was also very reasonable considering the huge portions of foods. Drinks were a great deal too! Thanks to the team at Carlitos for a great evening!
